It was 27th of November. After about 2 months and 17 days the situation was totally different. I have shared my first day experience with you all. Now am going to write something about the last day of CIMA foundation class.
Even though I was the only Maldivian, all my class mates did not let me feel that. It was not like what I thought and not like my friends told me. I was told that most of the Lankans don’t talk and are not friendly. It was true as far as I knew. But it was totally different in our class. All were so friendly. There was nobody who doesn’t talk. We make fun all time and even the lecturers were saying that they haven’t seen such a class.
We were so close that we sometimes go for movies together which no class has done in our institution I suppose. We sometimes go to window shopping with the girls which they like a lot and the historic event on 23rd of November. We went to cascade for a lunch and then went to galle face. My god, it was a nice day I am sure we cant forget that day. After all it was the most enjoyable day in the history of CIMA foundation.I was surprise to see dulanjali there.Hehe any way I was happy to see her there. That was the first time I went to galle face. This made me much happier as I was the only foreigner and I was able to roam around with locals which in many ways made much to know.We made some nick names like nuvangs, chams, guyns,SJG,Namits, suzy, milo gal(bec she drinks minimum two packets of milo every day).and I always call them by their nick names (sorry friends)
I didn’t know what was happening to all of us. I found in the later classes of foundation most of us wanted to come every day and if a lecturer cancel a class I find them being worried. They all wanted to come to class and have fun with their mates. And for me of course, in nature like to make fun and so I would rather be happy if there were more class. And one thing I found was even though they all wanted to come to class they didn’t want to study all time and wanted some breaks which will last for few long. I suppose they want to spend more time with friends making fun and is the excuse they make to come to class. Hehe it is the same with me.
On 27th I went to class at 8. I even carried a camera so that we can take some snaps of our class together as I knew we will not meet in the managerial level classes as we will split into part time and full time. But was not able to that as there were few in the class when it concluded. First of all it was the discussion of mock the first mock exam (business mathematics). The results were good and I was happy that I got the highest but was not happy with the result as it was not the result I expected. Any way after discussion of the paper we had the second mock exam from 10:30 to 12:30 and then we had our lunch break. After the break we discussed the second mock and then we conclude our CIMA foundation classes. But after finishing we stayed there for not less than hour to talk.
While I was coming home I was feeling sad as I was to leave the good friends. But I knew we won’t be able to be together for a life time. But I miss them. The fun I had with them.
So I thank all of my class mates for the good friend ship they shares with me and as they were so close to me. I here write their names to thank them individually and I thank all our lecturers and my orange crush from ACCA class too.
